Joshua Monrad  

Biosecurity Program Officer

Joshua is a biosecurity researcher with the Future of Humanity Institute at Oxford University, where his research focuses on how to prevent global biological catastrophes. He has co-authored articles in journals including Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and the Journal of Medical Ethics on topics ranging from biosecurity to epidemiology and medical ethics. Previously, Joshua has worked with the Nuclear Threat Initiative, the Georgetown Center for Global Health Science and Security, and the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a joint MSc from the London School of Economics and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as a BA from Yale University.
